i really like 1.7 but what the fuck happened to tribun? this was my favorite map....but now i really hate it. I liked the old size of the map...something between cube and smallcube.

funny how rutzy is going thru all threads complaining about the same things over and over....
at first you think nobody likes 1.7, then you notice its only one guy posting everywhere 0_o

Rutzy is it just me or do you WANT to hate db 1.7, no matter what the reasons are, and no matter how good or bad it is?

i like 1.7 you just dont fix your fucking bugs! Everything bascially works now but your removing shit to add more usless crap.

point and case: crouch. Apparently it was like a rapid-crouch that was caused durring the beta so it was removed... why? This is a bug. Crouch is the only offspeed motion available in DB because sprint used the walk function.

You think a 1/2 charge sound looks like a bug, you are a fool for letting this on "slip" by.

Anyway, i think 1.7 is fine, a few bugs here and there but thats expected with a new release. Of course people aren't going to like it, thats how life is. IMO the n00bcannon wasn't as much of a problem as people made it out to be. Yea it's gay and all depending on the situation (volley only was the thing at the time, so n00bcannon sucked ass) But if you are in a match or something and you are actually playin positions (heaven forbid) they are very easy to defend.

Crouching wasn't vital but I do miss it. I hate being given no option to crouch if I so choose.

btw, i never liked 1.6 from the start...1.4b > 1.6 1.7> 1.6

i cant say that 1.7 > 1.4b yet, cuz i havent played a whole lot of 1.7 yet

If only if were that simple. Freeserve Anytime cuts you off after 2 hours and BT gives you only 150 hours a month. Thank God I've left all that behind!

then get a decent ISP.. and im sure u can automatically redial, that combined with a download resumer shud get it thro the night, surely?
