hes been brining light like this for a while, and hes been wrong. He claims he knows how to beat any db 1.8 match, but yet his clan hasn't won many (actually just 1 out of 5) and so hes speaking out his ass. He sucks and all he does is complain. He should shutup and stop playing this game.

Meh as much as i like V3 and sometimes dislike surge..i have to agree there's truth in his post.
And ffs if u didnt read the whole thing, stop flaming him, also bringing on the fact "ur clan is worse than my clan" (duh v3 pwnz all >_<), is a bullshit comment which has almost nothing to do with it.
As i said he's in right, but i dont think the answer is to let certain ppl shine. Egoing is not what db is supposed to be all about, but the game shud get more depth, coz as it is now, more n more clans will reach a state of perfectness, or something near it.
And even tho i myself (nor the clan i play in..suckazz :p) havent reached this state, more depth in db would be greatly appreciated. Some individual tricks and stuff would be okay, but imo the main thing would still have to be the team, and a trick or skill that is really an effort by the team, like the boosttrick (which shud have been made harder instead of rendered useless like it is now) is something which is good because it adds more depth.
I know im probably gonna be flamed at, and my opinions of this will be shot down immediately, even if it was only because i supported surge. But i do think that db needs more depth skillwise.

Surge does post good ideas once in a while, its just that he has the boy who cried wolf effect. He posts a thread every other day posting how DB is crap because of this and that, and he has the solution to it. Most people dont give him a chance, and its not hard to see why.

Surge, I think you raise some good points but your argument is fundamentally flawed because I dont think a team could really play the way you describe and be successful. I think they could put up a good fight against a team with higher quality strikers, but they'd be fighting a losing battle.
The majority of successful teams keep the ball in the enemy half as much as possible by using the goal hanger tactic, which is: One attacker stays upfield and does 3 important things:
1: Prevents opposition boosting upfield
2: Receives long passes in order to make an opportunistic goal if free to do so
3: Receives long passes in order to hold up the ball while teammates boost forward.
Knowing that the ball is relatively safe upfield, a good defense will not ritually kill all attackers in their pen box since its just helping the enemy defense. In fact the last defender should try to prevent them boosting back if possible.
The midfield player is then boosted up asap to help with the attack which needs to be quick. Unless the counter attack is fast, the initiative is lost.
Thats it really. I've seen this form of play used by many teams. It works. It leads to fast, open play and there's nothing wrong with it. Generally, the best boosting/passing/shooting side wins. Of course

honestly we have absolutely no strats to speak of at all because we dont have a server to practice on..... we just go out there and use our pug skills, we didnt 'try' anything on you guys..
