A very short and quick animated tutorial would be good...just the basics like passing, shooting, boosting, vollying, keeping.
And...lock the game so they can't come on-line till they have watched it

"Zee first step to playing MY MOD DAMNIT!!!!!... ees passing. Try und pass to zee bot on zee left"
*does it wrong*
"NEIN! DAS IS NOT VAT I ASKED! OMFG! NOOB!"
*ut closes down*
or not...make sure you stick to a version tho

or you'll get "DB wont work?" x300 a week

Has any work gone into making an 'in game' tutorial like in most games?

ALso, i agree Inphidel's tutorial is great, on the day that the nex version is out and ready for download, we should highlight it on the main deathball.net page.

I say ban volley only games for 2 weeks or so from the start of release. If you guys want these people to be serious about ladders, well then you have to start them off on the right foot.

ban volley games for the next 25 years, that would help!

Just hope the news on the front page has all the info they need in a simple idiot proof layout i.e. "If you installed deathball from the UT bonus pack, THIS is the file you need to update to the latest version.
Atari must give support to everything they sell. They should mirror all the updates needed for all the mods included in ECE.
At least, they should provide links to download the patches in the official Atari page and Epic should do so in Unreal Tournament's official site.
If both don't do it, I'll be extremely dissapointed with them.
