Can't Connect?

Your username is invalid.
Connect with your real username, in lowercase.
If your mail address were foo@bar.com, your username would be foo.

Well I tried to fix it. I went to options and stuff. Fixed it to the quakenet.org settings and I still get the same answer.
I've visited the FAQ for the server and stuff and that didn't help. It might help getting answers from you guys?
It's really weird. I think it's this new geh version of mIRC

Change your nickname, email addy and User ID (under identd) to single words dont include any other characters. That should work. The email addy doesnt need to be something@something either btw, mine is just FireCell.

i know some1 who had the same problem, he opened a pic just be4 if it helps you, i guess this pic is a kind of virus

Ok I got it back to working. I did what FireCell said.
I simply put "oom" for everything. And now it works. So weird.
But I also forgot my old QuakeNet account, is there anyway that I can find out again?
