DBW....what's important?

I've played cell and dimension so far, pretty unplayable if you ask me.
Some things that are important to me:
1. radar size. in all maps make it be the same size as in the test map (8192x8192 units...)
because: -you can shoot from one side to the other
-your banana and distance feeling totally depends on the radar, so the radar size has to be the same in every map, otherwise you have no feeling for this stuff
2. no stuff going above/below each other, no galleries or tunnels etc
-it just cannot be drawn on the radar
-by one view at the radar you should know whats going on, in the maps i've played i have totally no clue about the maps layout. totally confusing
3. balanced startpoints and layout
-all startpoints should be at equally fair places. you are not totally save (in dbw-cell sometimes you start on a tower in the middle of the map, you are 99% save there)
every place shall be risky
Correct me if i'm wrong, but in dbw-test there is not a single place where you can feel safe.
-make sure there are no places where you can get in perfect safety (tunnels or places that you cannot reach...)
-place the startpoints in a way that you have no open shot at an enemy without moving
PS: dbw maps dont need to cause eye cancer
