DB 1.9 >< DB 1.8 Changing "Utility"

Its not much, but it sort of helps if you are willing to download for a bit to save much more time when you have to fiddle about renaming files, forgetting when you backed up and so on.

These are simple zips. Directory structured. When you want to play 1.8, unzip the 1.8 zip to /UT2003 directory. Rewrite all files when asked.
When you want a 1.9 game, Unzip the 1.9 zip to /UT2003 and overwrite all files.
Want to play 1.8 again? Just repeat.
As I said, its a pretty much crappy tool but It saved me time.
PS: Feel free to mirror from crappy bt site.

Meh, seems a bit suck then. You will need to update the zips if you are using it, by going to
http://forums.gameservers.net/showthrea ... eadid=7785 every now and then, and updating the neccessary files for the db 1.9 zip.
seems a bit complicated. Maybe I just suck

make a directory in your ut2003 dir called dbbeta, extract all the 1.9 stuff into this dir (maps/.u/.gfx etc)
copy your deathball.ini file, and rename it dbbeta.ini.
Add the following lines to your dbbeta.ini, BEFORE the other paths=system ones under the [Core.System] section :
Paths=../dbbeta/*.u
Paths=../dbbeta/*.ut2
Paths=../dbbeta/*.utx
Paths=../dbbeta/*.uax
Paths=../dbbeta/*.umx
Paths=../dbbeta/*.usx
Paths=../dbbeta/*.ukx
Paths=../dbbeta/*.uvx
it should look like this, or close to this after:
[Core.System]
PurgeCacheDays=30
SavePath=../Save
CachePath=../Cache
CacheExt=.uxx
Paths=../dbbeta/*.u
Paths=../dbbeta/*.ut2
Paths=../dbbeta/*.utx
Paths=../dbbeta/*.uax
Paths=../dbbeta/*.umx
Paths=../dbbeta/*.usx
Paths=../dbbeta/*.ukx
Paths=../dbbeta/*.uvx
Paths=../System/*.u
Paths=../Maps/*.ut2

make a shortcut to your ut2003.exe with the following params
click on the shortcut to play 1.9, use your normal exe for 1.8
