Our server currently has long resets on and quite frankly it's boring me. We can't contact the admin to change it.

Anyway it led me to think about something: Could there be an option to have the non-scoring team explode? I was thinking an explosion kind of like the pressure room from ut1, with gibs splattering everywhere.

Or have a kind of mini-game during the reset where it is one hit kills with the hammer, for both teams, but the non-scoring team is disadvantaged by not being able to move.

I just think it would make for a bit of fun, and would obviously be an option so you could turn it off for serious matches.

Edit: or, a kind of mix, where the non-scorers expand like in the pressure room, and the scoring team can "pop" them with their hammers or the ball.

the joy of scoring a goal keeps me going till kickoff. ^^

Yeah I remembered a mutator, but a mutator will never be put on servers, a db option will be.

And gibball was nothing like that if I remember correctly (which I probably don't)

yes, it was nothing like that.

gibball was volley only and if you touch the ball u gib. you could also stop the ball with altfire, sort of like chesting it in football (soccer).

*ahem* i MADE gibball, it started out when i was fiddling about trying to gib a team after a goal was scored...

I like the long resets...gives u time to type stuff... u know like
"OMG...n00b!...wtf?...BS...I had that...etc."

Sounds a bit like a gimmick to me which, would probably wear off after a few days, as time has shown us in the past =)

I started using a straw for soda after a few games with short reset.
