Deathball Models in later versions
Yo People!, I know that DB will have New Player Models in later versions, but I herad this since ages ago, and still that I haven't heard about them... I just wanna know a few stuffs about them:
1. Will they be somekind of Remade versions of the 2k3 models? (I mean Human, Egyptian, Robotic Races that have somekind of DB look?)
2. Or will they be really Custum skins... I mean never seen DB looking ppl?
3. Or it will be like in Teh Fifa Series... U can costumies all stuffs on your player skin? (like hair, eyes, face, etc.)
4. And what about player numbers? There was a Possibility to choose one, but you never saw it in play Will this return? But if it returns, hopefully it will have a visual meaning... i mean you can see teh number...

No modeler = no models

Lemme copy paste my model design doc, so you have an idea of my plans:
Didn't include the animation part here, only the configurability
Free configurable:
Haircut: including about 10 different haircuts (including no hair), try to have all haircut styles included (so the hair are a seperate model)
Haircolor: allows you to change the skin of the hair model, black, dark brown, brighter brown, red, red-blond,
blond, grey (so much for the normal colors) and colored hair: blue, red, yellow, green, orange, purple, white
Fatness: gotta talk to the coders how to do that; in unreal/ut it was possible to change a model's fatness
from 0 to 255, but they were kinda deformed, we gotta prevent that
Helmet: You can choose helmet, cap, nothing, .....and maybe some other form of hat; AND helmet color Black,
White, Yellow, Orange, Purple, Green, red, blue (if you choose blue or red it will automatically be
team color, otherwise it might confuse others)
Glasses: you can choose between no glasses and ~3 different types (they should be a lot different)
Face: Need 10+ different faces
Beards: different types of beards + color; I dunno if they should be part of the model of a different face skin,
if necessary we merge faces and beards
Number: A big 2 digit number on your back of the trikot
Name: Name on your back, above the number
Tag: Clantag (up to 4 chars) on your breast
Boots-color: Black, White, Yellow, Orange, Red, Purple, Blue, Green (if you choose blue or red it will
automatically turn into team color, otherwise it might confuse others)
[The boots are the only part of your clothes who have no overall blue or red (teamcolor) look]
Skin color: about 6 different skin colors (hope we dont need new faces again for that)

Although it is a said thing to hear that there are No modellers out there to do this

Anyway, the Models of will be the same? Actually I can imagine that from your doc. Just like in Fifa series? I Mean, same model, with different Jersey-s? Or what? Or the Skin will be also Configurable? Or as I said, there will be a Default model, which looks like a mixture of Soccer Jerseyed player, and a Brutal, bloody deathball player? Would be nice, because Clans could have teh Same Model, withg different faces, and other stuffes like that... but on the other hand, you lose variability... I mean, everyone looks like the same... But I still like this Idea, although it has a few bad stuffs...
