was reading the thread about "On fire" players, and it got me thinking.. if the game is tied, at the end, rather than golden goal, a penalty shootout would take place.

everyone except a team selected goalie.. (if team cant decide.. (give them 30secs) a random choice outta the most popular ppl will be in goal) and 5 players from each team (once again, voted.. top 5 people (or 3, or whatever, based on team size / numbers) will go up in order (highest to lowest) they spawn in the middle, and all they can do, is aim and shoot.

Once the shot is fired, they get a redeemer style display, so they can guide the ball towards the goal.. to shoot, they need to direct the ball and hit the 'shoot' key, the ball will then fly straight, with the power based on how close it is to the goal (The closer to the goal, the less ammount of power it has). The goalies job is to volly the ball away, or touch it.

Obviously speed and stuff would have to be determined, it would need to require a little bit of skill to save the shots, as well as shoot.

Scoring done as it would be in something like ice hockey :p

already planned. although not the redeemer stuff.

bah, would still add an interesting twist to the game :p
