Is anyone doing it?

If not, I would like to call out a few people who are familar with the unreal editor. I'm thinking you can make a basic 30 secs video with bots showing how to pass and shoot. Not going into more advanced tactics until the bot support is better.

If you guys don't know what I mean exactly. Watch the tutorials for CTF or BR. You can edit them using Unreal ED because basically they are a map. Just that particular map uses alot of scripts.

Use Matinee in Ued, its pretty easy to do, im still learning how to use it, but it's not that hard.

I could make tutorials with fraps and then post them online and such but I'm too lazy to make an organized website and I definitly don't have the money for the bandwidth and space needed.

We should make a flying V movie:O

i seriously doubt anyone here is able to do this

you need some serious hardware for this (record everything as movie on a 2nd computer, so you got 1 hour of film and can cut it etc...)
once i get a 2nd computer I'll do this

some cripple matinee stuff will never be able to do what I have in mind

I think hes talking about a tutorial much like those made for UT2K3 single-player...

if you followed the happenings you would know that we'll have an interactive tutorial, script is done, voice acting is done...rest not done

I have 4 pcs.. O_o 2 that can run ut2003 at good frame rate and the other 2 have a good CPU and amount of ram just my dad wont upgrade the graphics cards hehe I still have loads of fun kicking my m8s asses on old UT

But I’m a skill-less n00b at making movies

and may i ask where these happenings are posted?

... if your planning on saying "IRC" we dont connect to Quake net for the same reason you dont connect to PGP.

so.. is nobody making the movie yet?

If nobody is doing it yet, I'll setup an FTP and people can send any replays they've got where interesting things happen so that I can get a bunch of 'cool clips' or such and make a REALLY REALLY kick ass movie, that shows the action, has cool cuts, camera moves....all at once.


Maybe Gnomeh would like to donate some replays of him keeping ;>
