Run the commentary. Sync it up with when the countdown begins in the demos.
Yay.
Australia's finest. We'll own you all! Just find us an even pinging server. :p
if anyone work out how to ogg up the commentary and embed it in demos... you = hero
Hint: Get a euro or usa all-stars match going. We just voted on north / south... = teams!

Just two demos and some mp3 commentary -- more effort to play but it's much more compact.

hmm, wonder if a home and home with australians would work...
do you ozzies have a national team?

pretty much, theres a team CxZ which has most of the best players (they formed CxZ to play international games)
but to play on a euro server means 300-400 ping, whereas to play on a US server is about 200-250 ping, so US servers would be better i imagine. I can give you their contact details if you want, I think armagon's in it.

yea, we could play a game on a US server i guess =)
but somone would have to let us borrow one =(

Fraps them, then edit it (possibly bring it down to normal speed) and add the commentary (with the annoying voice, does that guy have a problem with the 's/f' or something? i no it's not the way all ozzies speak X_X)

Hmm are demos backwards compatible... ie do they run on 1.8

h
Yeah fraps has been suggested elsewhere.. but 40 min of video = lots more space required than in demo form.

to play a demo of an earlier version, youd need that version installed, along with the correct revision of the map/textures used.
all a demo is, is a list of commands that the engine interprets
