whatever the next version is called....is there a release date? or an ETA?

err, there wasnt a release date set for 1.7, it was "when its done".

im not anything to do with the tv team, but i guess that wid still applies to future versions

just that when 1.5 was releaseed, no1 liked it, so 1.6 was released about 1 week later to fix all the stuff people hated

ive got a feeling the same might happen here

but most like 1.7 atm

I like 1.7 but there are some bugs in like:

chat bubbles are bugged
cant hear other ppl charge up shots (volume set way too low)
crowd noise too high in volume on some maps
new tribun sux (gives us back the old one with slightly bigger penalty area pls)
volleying from keeper seems different, missing a lot more volleys it seems (where i should be missing less due to lower latency, shrug)
etc

we didnt even consider to start working on the next version yet

The difference between this version and the others is that it was extensively tested by community players, and thus most of the bugs/poor design decisions have been ironed out. There's perhaps a couple of little things that need fixing/changed, but they aren't too major (raising the volume of shots when taken being the thing that springs first to mind - then the maps, but I can deal with that... i just release my own versions )

but ure own version arent gonna be played in the league cata

/me wishes an option to disable crowd noise. It's very annoying if u want to hear music while playing

nah, the crowd noise is great. cube has the football chants and icedemon the hockey crowds and music. if youve been to an NHL game you'd know just how deafening it can be, and believe me, it adds to the tension and excitement.

besides, if it were silent, you'd just have these dumb-ass people jumping around in the stands keeping absolutely quiet...

Have you tried smallcube though? The crowd is WAY too loud in there. I could barely hear anything else.

some more points:
-radar on greenbaize is bullshit (colour, can t see anything on it
-goals too huge on icedemon
-penzone too small on icedemon
-with low details penzone-lines on icedemon are too big, dunno where the zone ends
-If u go to the serverbrowser during a game (esc/serverbrowser), u got the standart-ut2-browser, not that db-browser
-spin left/right exchanged
-slowdownbug when dropping a ball (btw got this prob with tennis too from time to time)


btw was there a change to the keeper-volley??

It's not too crucial, but its annoying

The only times i saw it, when i was in the DB server browser, and i tried to spec a game and it was full...same for joining a game that is full
