Why would you have to rewrite it?

The links will be the same though :) wont it just be the first section of the url that changes? Or do you mean the guides on the forums? Which you could just copy and paste the code for and then change the links without having to rewrite :)

I'm pretty sure the links will be the same. Otherwise, everybody currently solving the puzzle would lose their place (including me).

yes, just a portion of the link will change but it's still all the positives, all the negatives and all the greeks that i need to go through and change each individual url in the walkthrough.

Also I have all the eggs for all the levels written down so they will need to be changed to.

From azure's post on page 2:

"I've registered the new server and it's now up to them to figure it out with gs.net to port it.
The thing is, I will keep deathball.net, just it will run on another machine by another provider.
I'm waiting for them now.
"

Seems to me that it's just a server migration, not a domain change. So the entire address should stay the same.

Actually, if you change in the URL deathball.net TO supraball.net, you can access the levels... This is the point.

It will be a problem changing ALL the hundreds level's URLs that I have favorited... But I'm sure I'll find a way.

Thank you Kawkowa.. that was my point.

it's going to be a pain in the ass to change my complete walkthrough (eggs, extras, everything is noted in there). I've worked for years on getting it "perfect" and now it's all changing. I hate change!!! lol

I'm OCD.. it's all gotta be changed or it'll drive me insane. LOL

My suggestion to change all the URLs in one rush:
Open your text file within a Hex-editor.
Use the replace function to change the string
"death" to "supra" and save your work.

The game itself will totally stay the same.
There is just currently a problem that deathball.net isn't working yet, but supraball.net does.
So for now use supra instead of death.
But in the end it will be the same.

I will open a forum on the new server. The posts will be ported, but the links in them will all be wrong, that will have to be changed....yes.

I'm currently waiting for the new provider to sort out the deathball.net problem and waiting for the old provider to get me the databases for the forums and the deathball mainpage (which is totally lost right now...).
