and no a tennis racket will not suffice, it would be too hard to make it line up with the ball every time, third and first person..

so this is my idea. a futuristic looking tennis racket that when swung creates an energy field similar to that of the shield gun, this hits the ball (hence the trails behind it) and sends it flying.

Right click would charge the racket up electrically unleashing a more powerful field..

now yours?

how about the kind of Cannon that kinda projects a tennisracket in the air and u gotta hit it with that :spam:

I wouldnt have problems with just a slightly ripped-off shieldgun, with the energy beam thingies (little green ones ) being replaced with a yellow one or something which just goes from right to left (or left to right if ur a lefty :>). Would be more fun tho to have something that just has the weapon going left/right/left . Maybe make the left click a backhand from right-left and the right click just go from left to right .
Why does it have to be alligned to the ball? It can just be a gun flapping to the side right? :p (a slapper-gun ^_^) Would look lame but u get the idea ^^;

be sweet if you made a gun that fired forward and flaired out createing a net then retracted right back into the gun. Retains the whole tennis racket idea, just gunnish.

racket is gay. just use the gun from 1.7. it makes it seem more like one mod, different modes.

ALSO, hurry up and polish up all loose ends. i hear that the first round of the mod contest is due july 1.

Yeah it'd be cool if DB won that competition. That would at least earn it a place in a G.O.T.Y. release of UT2003.
