Some novices are kicking out players from public servers

There were 6 guys playing on public servers today, they kept on kicking out other players without a reason.
Please check the ips, they could be logged on tv1.
They have no right to kick out ppl just 'cause they want to play without any other guy around.

Well, I've just discovered that they are HKC clan members.

No need to wonder if you got kicked out...
In my opinion we must stop that.
If a new player wanna try to play online, he won't be able cause there are only 2 public servers and when those guys are on, he will get kicked out for sure!

Hi DI, been a while for sure. Can't remember the last time I played DB. I've probably forgotten how to play by now. x)
Someone needs to wield the banstick, as they say. Is there anyone around to wield it though?

Only DavidM got admin powers on TV servers.
Maybe it doesn't take to ban them all but just a warning.
I always want new players to enjoy deathball and join pickup matches.
That could be a chance to have some new players around unless they are immature at all (like some of them acted when I met them on TV server).

Maybe you're right, banning might be a bit strong. Even though my last encounter with those types must have been years ago I've obviously been harbouring some hitherto latent resentment.

i can understand why they want to play alone... i do very often the same thing when testing a new game or mod with friends without the ability to create an own server!
They just want to test around without any guys making all "better" or giving advices etc. imo
