Futurama - "Deathball" reference

Post by Noko »

Hey, long time no speaky!

I was perusing youtube yesterday when I came across the latest trailer for the new feature length futurama episode "The Beast with a Billion Backs".
They appear to have STOLEN intellectual property from our good friend DavidM In the form of the name of a futuristic sport called "Deathball".
Only thier depiction of deathball is slightly different... It's like the game I played when I was younger with a mini maze that you hold in your hands and tilt to guide the ball to the exit... Forgotten what that's called. nm...
Anyway, thought you might be interested;

I smell a lawsuit (although...the name did exist before DavidM's magnum opus).

p.s. I really hope the film is good.

I liked the first movie a lot better. But this one has some tricky references to what's going on in the world, that nobody has a clue about, so nobody will notice. Well as always in Groenings stuff.

Stand alone info coming soon.
