are you serious? this is the only accent that I can't stand at all. maybe it's because I'm hearing it all the time. And I'm afraid that I'm having it a little bit, too...

french/italian/spanish = soft accent = romantic.

german = hard, rough accent = sexy.

Funny thing is, Germany does not only have lots of dialects, each of them has its own accent, too (when you hear them talking in English)
For example, a Saxon speaking English sounds quite different from a Bavarian speaking English, or someone from Berlin

yeah. my friends taught me to count haha, and they use the hard sounding g in vierzig, etc. and then my teacher here was from hamburg and she taught us the soft g, kinda shhh sound.
i hate pronouncing that damn ich sound!
