kick your system
if that doesn't work, kick a stranger until they give you enough money to replace your system, which you kicked already

get a new one ;) .. I excanged my gateway, a duron 800 (with a via kt133), with a p200 ... now there's no packet loss anymore :o)
Blame the chipset ... the only thing which might help is updating the BIOS

Update the drivers on your hardware before you go after the BIOS

Dont MSI do that live update thing for that make of board?

You know the thing that helps you update the mobo drivers and BIOS?

i dont nessesarily think this is the issue, but the kt133a is really a bad chipset it has pci, agp, ide, memory issues.

its tough to know on a system like that, its on the weaker side... also the longer a ocmputer has been around, the older windows is... seems when windows gets old it gets slow and sometimes glitches.

good luck... luck is what you need ;)

I like MSI boards...had 3 of them now...never any of these problems u talk of.

My money is on it being a windows problem...just reinstall a new XP system over your old 1...SORTED.
