I was just wondering,
has any one else played a relatively old, but still loved by many, game called "The 7th Guest"?

Courous, because notpron reminds me quite a bit of "The 7th Guest", even down to the music styling.

Loved that game, I don't think I have it anymore, Dad cleaned out all of my old cds when I was away at school.

Sorry if I rambled.

gamespot.com is one place. I have to look in my bookmarks for the site that I know is good.

I think this is the site the that would give you the most info.
The Dollhouse

It has link to other pages, be sure to check out The Fat Man and Fat music. Without the music, I don't think the game would be quite the same. I think that's what I tend to miss is a lot of games today.

I think the MIDI versions of the music is creeper ( I do beleive that you get to here more of the peices than with the mp3).

Does anyone know why this type of music relaxes me?

Yea, I have played the 7th Guest, and its sequel, the 11th Hour. They are awesome, but unlike notpron, they really are a "point and click thing".

When I seen this thread I thought.. hey I think we have that game. Got it in a box of old programs from someone..

I looked through my discs and found it.

I'm on the second "puzzle" and I'm addicted. So if I'm not around much anymore.. you guys know who to blame.

;)

Oh, and Sam Atoms.. while 7th guest is a point and click game.. you still have "puzzles" to solve. And they aren't easy. They take as much brain power as some of the levels on notpron.. and you don't have the luxury of using google (unless you want a walkthrough.. which I found for The 7th Guest. But I refuse to read it)

I only looked up the answers with 7th guest when nothing seemed to be working; and that was just to conferm that it wasn't a glitch in the game. Which there a least one in one of the versions.

I thinking of a least getting the album with the music from those two games. Strangely enough listening to it is helping me in writing my book.

Which I really ought to get back to soon, almost done it, I think.

LOL, I never needed no google or walkthroughs. I got through the 7th Guest when I was like 14, or maybe even 13. Have fun wandering around the maze in the basement....

The 11th Hour, on the other hand, was a different story though. Ya have to run around the whole damn house looking for crap....
