Seems like you're trying to host CarBall? If so, you will need to ensure you have a complete copy of it installed into the directories that it is expected to be in.

It would appear that way. Might be a serverpackage in your server's ini that is looking for it too.

Do you know which ini is the one used when you run the server?

Better yet, tell us how you start the server and we should be able to figure out the file for ya.

In that case it sounds like you're firing up deathball and then running a listen server with you as the host/player.

This would use your deathball.ini from the ../ut2004/deathball/system/ folder. Let us have a look at that and we should be able to fix you up. Post it, upload it to some personal webspace and link it.. you can email it to me at muave_bib@hotmail.com as well.

Ok, I have your file. Do you use it to host any other games besides deathball? You have a lot of other gametypes in there too.

edit -- I see these:

ServerPackages=BeavisandButthead
ServerPackages=BonusVehicles-102a
ServerPackages=CicadaInvasion
ServerPackages=OnslaughtBP
ServerPackages=CBall
ServerPackages=Deathball_rc
ServerPackages=Deathball
ServerPackages=DeathballAI
ServerPackages=DeathballSP

The above lines mean you MUST have the files for them in the expected paths. If you don't you will have some errors.

edit2 -- I found these somewhere they shouldn't be:

Paths=../CBall/Animations/*.ukx
Paths=../CBall/Maps/*.ut2
Paths=../CBall/Textures/*.utx
Paths=../CBall/StaticMeshes/*.usx

this might be the problem.

edit3 -- sending your ini back for you to test.

He had a few problems with the paths and the order they were in. Once that was corrected, UT2004 was able to see find the mod's files and everything was good to go.
