@ Sixty
when i say basics i mean basics, you musst know where the pass button is and how much you can charge your weapon etc. (you dont need to know what a boost is, but we will expain it to you). Anyway if you look at the page you see the possibilty to get a "trainer" guy who expains/shows all you need to know (boosting etc..)

@The_one you talking about pickups without knowing much about them?!
And im tired to explain the difference, maybe some1else can tell him.

@MS this thing is mainly for public players and new guys. Also for the one's who just enjoy deathball, its not a real league. I guess some of you "cracks" ,like DavidM likes to tell "us", wont like that (cause you will play with beginners)
But as told everyone is invited to join.. just 4 fun (if you havent notice much players dont have fun in normal public games)

quak :hmmmz:

We just want to try stuff instead of crying that db is dead 'n stuff :)

Oooo, new quote of the week.

Tell me how needing to sign up to play organised matches on a pub is not the same as a pickup. I am stoopid, plz explain.::Pfffff::

The word public is not (in this case) used to describe the normal way of public dballing.
Instead it is used to describe a defined area of DB - an area in which we want help the people (@public) who has never played a 'real' game of DB. In example, show them the basics of - 5on5, non vo, teamplay, large (normal) maps.

@The_One - I fail to spot where this in any way would hurt you. For all I know, maybe it would put a rest to certain areas of your keyboard, not spending time wondering why 'the fuck?' people play like they do.
Ie. maybe this would be a good way of showing the great deal of fun there is to be had, for players who are in the unknown about 5on5 'real' dballing.

In a perfect DB world, we would have no desire or need to make this kind of project become reality. In that perfect DB world games described above would be played non stop every day.

-Players of any skill level, is more than welcome to sign up.

-Players arguing just for the sake of arguing can continue playing ..somewhere else?

Here it is again - recipe for DB's continuing survival:

Deathball <-> public <-> pickup <-> public <-> league <-> public <-> Deathball

Spot the key word ;)

The only missing ingredient would probably have to be some form of wisdom to be added with every spoon of fun.
