Hi everyone.

I run a DB port for GibGames.com in the U.S. It sits on a 45Mb/s OC-12 and currently is idle most of the time. It is up to date (1.6), has a good map selection, standard official ruleset, and no bots.

Every once in a great while, it gets full for a few hours. What I want to do is at least make an effort to let U.S. clans know about this port since the UK doenst have as good of a ping so mostly U.S. clan players frequent it.

I`m probably going to shut it down soon in favor of another mod if this port doesn`t generate enought draw, but I *did* want to try this first.

I am open to suggestions from particular groups if you want to use it as a "homebase" as well.

not sure how much traffic you will get, but if people get good pings, and have their list in order of lowest pings, you'll get some. most americans seem to stay on rush, sop, v3, wkd, and IGL servers.

Also wolfservers.com server doesnt get enough attention. Maybe because it has too many playerslots but we have 3 x T1 to run it off...

there just isnt enough ppl to fill them up.
yall should be spreading the word on forums.
noobs can be annoying at first, but this mod has got to grow

TFO needs a server to host our match games and scrimms on.

Would you be interested in letting us having the privilage of using it as our home server??

just throw a clan name infront of it and your good to go.. "donate" it to the winner of the american cup perhaps... basically meaning you just put their tag at the beginning and name it sumthin like "_____ Cup Champs DB 1.6 Server" and if your feeling giving give 1-2 player sin the clan admin to it.
