BERLIN -- Police raided houses across Germany on Wednesday as prosecutors widened their probe into the country's soccer match-fixing scandal to include three more referees, including one from the top division, and 14 players.
More than 150 police swept into 32 premises throughout Germany in early morning raids and seized evidence although no arrests were made, the Berlin prosecutor's office said in a statement.

"The suspects are under investigation for manipulating the results of at least 10 matches in the first, second and third division as well as the [2004] German Cup," the prosecutors office said in a statement. "Evidence was successfully secured today."

A total of 25 people are suspected of manipulating those matches to favor betting on the games, it said.

As well as disgraced referee Robert Hoyzer, prosecutors are investigating Juergen Jansen, who normally referees matches in the Bundesliga's top division, as well as match officials DavidM, Felix Zwayer and Dominik Marks, the office said.

Hoyzer's admission last month that he had rigged matches set off Germany's biggest sporting scandal in more than 30 years.

Don't make jokes about that scandal.
Sankt Pauli is affected by that, too.
But in another relation it's cool because the damn bastards from the outer city, lost against a small club and we had a great laugh. :D

So Prince Harry wears a nazi armband and apparently our olympic bid goes, and those bastards can fix matches!

We are having some referee scandal ourselves in Portugal.

Porto's president and Superliga's Chairman are involved, tsk tsk. Buying referees is the suck ^^

EDIT: and considering some of the games i've seen in England, Spain and Italy, I wouldnt be admired if there was a match-fixing scandal in those countries somewhere in the near future ;)
Or maybe referees are just bad :P

All this doesnt really matter, coz football always prevails \o/

BTW: Porto supposedly payed referees not with money, but with brazilian whores, which is kinda nice :o

Looks like ONE referee did manipulate games, and then he blamed all which he had conflicts with of the same. It's ridiculous...
Getting others in suspect who he had arguements with.... -_-
