how do i get the quick link things to have the individual icon like the last two have Oo. i had it sorted but then i did sumthing and i cant remeber what to do

i had them before and i visited all pages many times after still not working btw the two with icons were added after the thing happened

tbh people who say they are happy with IE should be left alone with it.

Telling them they will get viruses, trojans etc isn't gonna make any difference till it it actually effects them.

edit:

Austin^13, iirc IE saves each bookmark as a shortcut.

So look in you favourities folder for a sub-directory called Links.

On each link, right-click and go to properties. You can change the icon from there,

Either way, I think you can rightclick the shortcuts in IE too and go to properties :\

In properties you can then change the icon as with any other .lnk :o

i right click on them and > properties and chenge icon but the still the same

IE aint bad.
I like the middlemouse clicky thingy, beside that theres programs that can stop the virusses, trojans, adware and popups.
FireFox has the nasty habit of not opening links if the page hasn't fully loaded yet.

Mine's the same, cept on the right side, a bit wider (higher reso too, so I have enough space), and with the WinXP theme crap turned off
