David M 2.1 just made Volley games almost non-existant. For me and I'm sure for many others it just took away the fun value of Deathball right down. I play the occasional reg game in mixers and sometimes in pubs but most of the time im playing volley...Well what I'm trying to say is that whenever 2.2 comes out I think that u should bring back all the pwning volley speed and the three jump volley

Only thing I can think of for this situation is to have the old 2.0 profile for VO mode (as identified by servers to alleviate any confusion) and to keep the current profile for reg games, this being my alternative to a fully customizable profiling mode... at least though with a fully customizable profiling mode, it could make for some pretty interesting twists if we ever wanted it... I know it's possible but will it get done?

volley only scares away all new players

That may be but whenever noobs enter our server and are having trouble with volley we try and help them (Fo server...even though pplz say we dont) Volley was fun the way it was....Relic u dont have any idea what ur talking about

I am not gonna start an argument with u but u have no idea what ur talking about...I dont think reg sucks cause it doesnt but i find vo to be much more fun...I dont care if u have ur own opinions but...

we all got past the vo crap already and know how much better a clean 5on5 is

and noobs joining a vo server wont get anywhere. people need to start with the basics, altfire passes and shots

both sides do have their points... but think about how much of the veteran community that is going to leave because of taking out volleys, sure i can see how you guys say reg is good, but its taking a huge piece of innovation out of the game...imagine going on and having all games reg, same thing day in and day out... people are going to get bored really fast, if there is more to do in a game, thats what keeps people coming back and playing,

as far as people coming into vo servers and leaving the game because they think its too hard thats their fault they are told to read the manual, and on most vo servers during downtime we try to help them out...

one more thing we could do is if davidm doesnt bring it back we could just revert servers to 2.0 and change the names to 2.0 ... but... whatever

ummm - you can still volley off a teammates cross, so stop whoring the ball and pass.

the volley speed is slower and the 2 to 3 jump move is dead as you posted in the changes log.... basically thats gonna kill it

or its gonna require skill? think about it
