I just pre-ordered it while its hot!
Pcgamer gave it 94%, (ps cant be arsed to read the other topic).
I'm gonna buy half life 2 too.. how about you guys? Gonna buy doomIII? /o/

Don't forget full mod-support wich allows you to play with more then 4 players.

People have probably said this before and people have probably explained why but I don't see the point in limiting it to 4 players if modders are just gonna raise that cap as fast as they get their hands on it =/

Apparently you've never heard of a program called Kali.

It essentially simulates a LAN environment, but online, so people can join "LAN" games remotely. I don't really intend to play the MP very much, so buying it would be a waste of cash.

Also, for what its worth, there have been proven studies done that if someone who "steals" a game or "steals" music, the odds of them buying the product in the first place doesn't justify cracking down on it in most cases. Many would argue that if more people bouhgt a game or music, than prices would go down, but its just not the case. Why the hell would they lower thye price if they have MORE buyers that they have now.

Want to drive down prices? illigally download stuff. Its that simple.

edit: its restricted to 4 players because lower end computers have issues rendering many players on-screen. Also doom 1 and 2 only had 4 players, so why mess with what works? Doom3 is being sold more on the single player than the multiplayer and it allows them to print lower system requirements on their boxes.
