new...beginners team...

Post by wakka »

hi this is my third day playing...and i am starting a newb team called "the boro foulers"...i am not expecting anyone to register to join but yea we will have our own server and custom maps and characters (since we are way better at models and maps than kicking and volleyin)...well we have four so far...i was wondering what does a normal team consist of...

2 wings?
2 defensive?
1 goalie

thanks ahead of time for not flaming us...ha and try our map when the servers go up...YAYYYY

1 keep
1 def
3 midfeild

boosting back so 2 or 3 def is important

hi wakka :o

Normal teams consist of a keeper, a sweep, and 3 midfield.

But proper teams can have their sweeper drop in as a midfield if in good position when another midfield can cover.

Some teams also use one midfielder as hanger :)

And err..you won't or shouldn't be able to use custom characters tbh =/

as noobs you should start with 1-1-3
but if you wanna get a little more advanced, go to 1-4, so everybody takes an open position, without static positions. otherwise you waste too much time getting to your fixed position...
its the proper way to play deathball

boro? what boro? D: i r peterborough

and ya, from expirience, i started the team with keep, sweep, anchor, 2 attack ( the good ole shev/bonesaw connection) \o/

but if ur gonna get a clan with 1-4, ur gonna need to improve fast.
too many teams now can easily slaughter a 1-4, so if i was u start with the 1-1-1-2 like the old pickup style.

yes and no
1-1-1-2 makes boosting too hard, they are nt close enough
i would either go with 1-2-2 or 1-1-3
but then you need to go towards 1-4 as soon as you improve
