Very professional, shove it up on the front page pronto and send it around the big unreal news sites :). Only problem i have with it is that it needs to be a bit higher quality, though, it seems rather over-compressed - so much so that I can barely see what's going on half the time. If you can do a higher quality one then you're onto something good.

EDIT: File is now mirrored on db-community.com for your enjoyment.

Superb trailer, the production and presentation are of extremely high standards, which is no less than I would expect from you David :)

Maybe offer two different versions @ different detail levels, to balance out the size/qual issue? You also might want to try using a different codec to divx5 to get better compression and quality. XviD is usually the best when it comes to quality + filesize. This codec comparison might be worthwhile reading.

Other than that, really nice. That works as a very good first-look at the game. The action in the vid is never chaotic, which is what db can look like to the newcomer. Finally, the music + other audio is excellent, and is nicely synced to the visuals, and really creates a good atmosphere.

gg DavidM :)

wow... that really does own.

Just stick a 30 mb high rez one on, (dont replace tho :p), and it's great.

my fear was that the music wudnt fit to the trailer... well, now that ive seen it i dont know why.

but even the trailer without sound had a better quality, so i hope the raw material is good enough to make a high res version...

Well, i have the video in a 4gb version, and it looks ownage

tell me how to compress it and i'll do it

i used divx 5.11 at highest quality
normally this looks far better, im very disapointed by the vid quality too

i'll try plaers xvid suggestion

XviD 37.31 fps <--- hah, not only the letters are backwards :P

pw: xvid looks exactly the same as divx
als toyed around with divx settings, cant get it better than that it seems

and i cant use too exotic codecs, in the end only 20% can actually watch it

Very nice :)

I liked the attention that was brought to keepers. Hardly any defender attention though /o\ so it seems..

Either way :) apart from quality, lovely movie..and I'm sure some1 will come along and tell you how to make it look a bit better =)

i want to attract people, and you dont do this by showing defenders :P
and the timing, shaking etc stuff isnt very obvious, so nobody would understand whats going on
my first priority was to keep it all clean and obvious
