ok... i just started playing Carball this week and i realized ALL THE MAPS SUCK!!! and i have already seen 4-5 DB guys playing it and some agreed... so i was thinking about using some of the textures and such to make the game a lot better... and i was looking for a few maps in particular... one being DB-Football - they have a "stadium" map where the texture sux's so many balls its very saddinging... and also ice demon (is it includied in the 2k4 package??) i noticed on DB.us or w/e they took down all the maps so if anyone can help me i would greatly apreeciate it... please just IM me=D

to a certain extent yes i wanted to play DB maps w/ CB.. but make them bigger, and i wanted to use some of the textures from the old DB maps... a good map i wanted to transfer was the one in the tomb i think it was by TWIG, w/ the two ramps on each side and the gap in the middle... that would transfer so well =D

so you wanna use deathball maps to help some competition.. lol!
I think nobody would ever give u the permission.. thats like giving the tactics of a friendly team to the enemy team..

That sounds more like one of my maps, DB-Chamber2004.

Yes, I updated ALL of my DB maps.
I also updated DB-SmallTribun (it had a minor skybox issue).

Yeah you'd certainly need the map author's permission before making a conversion of any kind.

I'll be adding these to the rotation on BuD2k4 later on today.

and you mean use as in COPY and past... i do wanna make a hockey type map but w/ my out textures and stuff so therforth it woldnt be a DB map right!?!?

btw... if i do end up doing something (or acutally go through) i will talk to the origial mapper personaly =D
