Was in a pub today and Ska did a n00b cannon by shooting to the wall and then catching it, then dropping it and hitting it.

It's 1.4b n00b cannon with a few more steps to it.

Might wanna check it out...

Might just be me, but as far as I can remember, the n00b cannon appeared in 1.5...there was no n00b-cannon in 1.4b.

And I'm pretty sure the "drop" command is being removed...pity, cos I really like Dutch liquorice.

yep in 1.4b it isnt possible to do the noobcannon , i know cause i tried it when i dll 1.4b for fun again :p

Not the "dropflag" command! Doh, should have specified more.

You shoot to the wall (with any power) and catch it back; then you shoot the ball foward with left click (with least amount of power put into the shot) and hit it.

It's just like the old n00b cannon (ty f1end, forgot there was no laming in 1.4b).

sounds like something ud only see in pubs with no defenders:)

Errr, so it's basically the ACTUAL n00bshot (no dropflag or rmb-deflect/bounce-clone) but you have to shoot-catch-shoot-volley instead of shoot-volley?

Meh..either way, if you're gonna shoot it against a wall first, using the rmb-deflect/bounce thing would take even less time :> and I like that more ^^;

my guess is fixing it would cause more problems don't worry about it

Or... You can bounce it twice, pick it up, shoot it foward with a small amount of power and hit it like the 1.5 n00b cannon.

lol, just stumbled onto this thread... first of all, u have more steps in there than u actually need to do, u can just dribble, but when u go to bounce, u can look up, catch, and sak it...there's about 7 or 8 ways to do it, most of which involve bouncing at some point, and none of which use dropflag... no matter, i quited db today, which (at least for 2k3) seems to be in it's final days of terminal cancer (nj dm :p ). rave just showed me this thread. thot it was funny so i replied , g00db\/e ..!.,
