This thread is for the bugs you find in Deathball 2.0 beta for 2k4 so the guys can get them all.

Some of these might be stupid that you know about but i want to cover them all:

- Play Deathball.cmd leads to normal UT2004 menu and when clicking on settings there aren't any Deathball settings.

- In server when pressing escape then settings the configure controls bit is unaccessable it puts the text in the center.

- When I get a lock it makes a bright square around the player.

- Botmatch - When picking the ball up in behindview the ball ring around the body is small and doesnt cover the whole skin.

- Botmatch - In one replay it showed a different skin, I may have clicked shift?

- bots love standing around again

- thats no bug, but i think the ball core needs more green.

- when one bot has the ball he just stands there turning and turning and turning around...

Just wanna know, would you be able to use the speech recognition system?
i mean when the bots work (some day) it would be really leet to give them commands like "Alpha pass Bravo" "I'm open" or "shoot" or something

Thats also what i was thinking but it's probably very hard to code/make.

start a game, open the esc menu, click settings, and regard the fucked-up-ness

I don't know if it's just me, but when I start DB I get the attached error.

I can play UT2k4 fine, I just installed the game today. I used to play DB back a long long time ago, lost my UT2k3 CD key and couldn't play anymore, hoping to get back into playing.

This is a problem, new people looking at this and it fucks up their UT - this wont catch on...

Perhaps it shudda been more private This is gunna put people off.

Not only is this exactly what's happening to me (CD key error message) but this is also the exact situation I'm in (lost my ut2k3 cd key, used to play db, want to play again).
The only thing is - deleting deathball.ini doesn't do anything. When I try to start deathball, it just gives me the error message and recreates deathball.ini

Yes, that is indeed the one I'm deleting which keeps recreating itself.

hmm well this problem solved others so im not really sure :s

Oh well, thanks for trying anyways. :p I guess I'll just wait for the next version and see if the problem fixes itself.
