Fine, I'll add that the windows were smashed by the man.

The question was "how did he die", not "why are the windows smashed"!

He had some kind of epileptic fit and smashed the windows then checked out?

He was angry so he puched out the windows. Then he phoned the samaritans but they couldnt help so he shot himself
you said it wasnt murder but it could have been suicide

He didn't have an epileptic fit.
I can tell you that the death was caused by smashing the windows, but not epileptic fit.

He had to sneeze so violently that his head smashed both windows.

@Nicky: What would the man be doing on the moon? Or more importantly, why is there a phonebox on the moon?
@Kisa: Erm... I don't think that's humanly possible.

Boo to these lateral thinking puzzles
Here are a couple riddles I jacked from a different forum. Let me know if these are repeats and I'll substitute different ones instead.
1. A man works for you and must be paid in gold. His salary is one bar of gold per week, but he must be paid daily. Devise a method of payment that does not involve cutting any gold bar more than twice. You must use all the gold (so cutting off 1/7 and 1/7 from each bar and discarding the rest is not an option).
2. You are part of a military company that has been captured by the enemy. The enemy leader tells you that in 30 minutes you will be lined up in single file, and upon each of your heads will be placed a hat, either black or white, completely at random. You may look ahead of you and see the color of all hats, but you may not look behind you and you cannot see your own hat.
When all hats are placed, an enemy soldier will start from the back of the line and ask which color hat the last person is wearing. If he answers correctly, he is freed. If he answers incorrectly, he is shot. The enemy soldier will then move up the line one by one asking the same question with the same consequences. Using the 30 minutes allotted to you and your men to discuss your peril, devise a plan that will maximize the number of soldiers in your company who survive.

The phone box was on an aircraft - when he broke the windows he died of lack of oxygen?

For some reason that does not need to be explained as that question was not part of the riddle

1. Melt the gold
2. We already did the hat one!

It's death due to fatally wounding himself smashing the windows.
Ok, maybe this question is better: Why did he smash the windows?

1) Cut off 1/7 then off the remaining 6/7 cut off 2/7
On first day pay 1/7, on second swap the 2/7 for the 1/7, on third give 1/7 on fourth swap 4/7 for the 2/7 and 1/7 on fifth give 1/7 on sixth swap 2/7 for 1/7 on seventh give the 1/7
Hope you all undersatnd

Nicky got it
Wayfarer, are you talking about the hat one from a couple pages ago? This question is completely different.
