Well just finished with my skyline, which had no problem defeating the last extra people.
Very fast [and has better stats than rages
]
I might start again, with a different car straight from the beggining and soup it up loads :E

the skyline is good, but doesn't beat the rx-7 for cuircit and sprint, i find that the skyline chugs through corners, hitting the side. when with the rx-7 you can slide it round nicely.
I did do all 112 races, but i re-loaded and i won't do race 112. as you can't change your underground car anymore after race 112. sure you unlock everything in customise ride, but you don't get the 3 unique upgrades :p (so i hope you saved it l00f)

a lot of people here seem attracted to the unique vinyls. It takes no artistic flair to slap that on a car with a vagely matching body colour.
Imo, mixing normal vinyls is where its at. And remember these are street racers, so the bolder and brighter the better.
