Nevermind, the operation was just mislabelled in Audacity. I had to use my own sound to figure out why it wasn't working first.

hey, i have the file changed but can't figure out the words anyone can help?

I beat the level, but how did you know to use audacity? i took the recommendation to use it from this thread but I didn't know how that conclusion was reached

i'm stuck at this level right now, i even tried cheating (woops) but the username and password don't seem to be the same anymore and when i convert the mp3 file to wav i can only hear somone saying random hardly catchable symbols and words /: also i'm not very good with computer stuff so i don't really know how to speed the audio up and all that, but i don't seem to be hearing the same thing everyone else does ayway! if anyone can help...please...acually it would be nice if you just messaged me the answer cuz idk what more to do lol...thx if anyone helps

Cheating won't get you far and if you continue, you'll eventually be banned from finishing. David has traps out there.
Part of Notpron is learning new stuff like this. No conversion is needed, you just need to work on the file.
If you are hearing a woman saying random hardly catchable symbols and words, something is amiss. Try again and PM me if you are still stuck.

Just solved this level finally. In general I feel like there is a trend where the password hints have almost nothing to do with the password. Particularly with this level, the user:pass had no tie-in whatsoever to the hints. I wonder do others feel the same or can someone help me with what the connections are (privately of course).

This looks like a fun level, and I'm excited to start work on it. However, macOS Catalina currently doesn't work with Audacity... is there an alternative I could use instead?

EDIT: Never mind, it worked fine for me.

I have downloaded audacity and i have no idea on what to do next. Can someone please nudge me in the right direction?

I have tried to invert and also speed up the sound from the mp3. I have had no success. Can someone please help? I am using a chromebook, so my options are limited. I have also tried to record with snapchat.

Just kinda repeating what's already been said multiple times, but here goes:
- i captured the thing
- i made it hurry up
- i made it go backwards
- i still can't make out what i'm supposed to be hearing LOL

Am I on the right track? I can't download Audacity but I'm using another program and can only go 4x speed, is that the issue? I'd appreciate any hints, advice, clues, etc.
