*hopes that murdering vampire girl isn't in the city tonight*
*remembers the first time he saw that monster jumping at random people, some days ago, to take their blood*
*remembers abruptly ending screams*
*still wonders if she was sent by Them to find him*
*sneaks from shadow to shadow, constantly looking around and listening for suspicious noises, until he reaches the cellar with the working water outlet*
*puts the bucket down next to the window*
*climbs through the window and takes the bucket*
*walks around some corners and fills it*
*returns to the window and listens for a while for suspicious noises*
*then puts the bucket out next to the window and climbs out himself*
*takes the bucket and sneaks all the way back, in the same manner, just like he used to do for years now*
*sneaks into the cardboard maze*
*hides and watches the girl for a while*

*bends and stretches her right thumb*
*cannot stretch her left thumb, therefore doesn't need to bend it anymore*
*massages her left thumb a bit and moves it around just to see if it can be stretched out*

*bends and stretches the other fingers as well*
*gives up and looks around in the small chamber*
*doesn't dare to touch any of the things she sees*
*hugs her knees and rests her chin on them*
