Any ideas?
I tried making the lamp change colour but couldn't figure out how to make it work. (Triggers?)
At this rate it will probably end up with the standard 'flares'...

you could make the glasses 'reflect' a blue or red 'Goal!' sign...

But whre would it be a reflection of?
I'm going to make them appear inside the glass, so that they have the 'shine' to them.

Have added the Goal Events (The word goal appears in the lens and fire comes out of the tops of the flags)
Changed the button under the ball to a 10p coin.
Placed some coins lying on the table.
Will upload Monday.

Have updated it
http://maps.4cows.net/4cows/deathballma ... .php?id=33
Screenshots haven't been updated though...
On a side note:
After noticing that no one had yet used the voting system at Deathball Maps, I gave it straight 8's, but after voting it said straight 4's and two people had voted! So either someone voted at the same time as me and give it 0's for everything or the voting system has gone a bit screwy!
Just thought I'd mention it...

The glasses have turned DB-JE-TheBook into a real FPS killer. Even on my Radeon 9700 it killed my performance to almost unacceptable levels whenever I looked at them. It's worse than DB-november. How do you think lower spec users are gonna be able to play this level? I even minimised detail to see if that would improve it. It wasn't as bad, but I still noticed a considerable drop in framerate. You may want to tend to this problem.
Oh and on a completely different note, when is DB-JE-Matrixlobby final release gonna be ready? Have you laid it aside for the time-being and plan to complete it later? Or have you given up on it?

A truly wonderful map.

No fps problems here although I suggest you use detail settings to turn the glasses off for those with low spec machines.
(highdetail and superhighdetail under advance)

What are the specs for your machine?

It may be all the shiny surfaces that are doing it so I'll post a version without the shine later today for you to test.
Also, at the moment they are NOT static meshes so it may make a big difference when they are. I'll get them changed sometime this week!

Well I have recieved NO response from anyone with regards to that map so it has just be left as it is. If enough people want it finishing I'll do something with it after I've done this one.

Wouldn't that cause problems with the ball seeming to bounce on an invisible surface?
