I agree with rage.
Rens' ideas sounded good too.
Deacan's ideas sucked.

I would especially like turning off crowd sounds, or having crowd sound detail, like turning off the stupid songs and way too loud cheering but keeping the ice-cream man

well davidm has said there will be a single player db in the future similar to the single player ut2003. You will have points to put in certain skills and you draft a team, and when you win you can improve the skills etc. etc.

We're going to provide a real singleplayer experience. It will be a real DB simulation. When you start all the bots will shout at you. They'll have an extensive vocabulary that equals the vocabulary of an avarage deathball player. Expect to see them shout: "N00b" "Pass" "AARGH PASS THE BALL" "BOOST Morron" "Volley only!" and many, many more things a new player experiences. As you can reputation and gain skill they'll start to be more friendly and to beat the game you'll have to do make 20 hattricks in a row with DavidM as your only opponent.

db needs more players therefore db needs single player. vortex are putting in single player in an upcoming version. vortex is good. the end.

i guess replays are a part of the SP experience too...i love where db is heading atm

There won't be a single player experience (for now, I can't speak for future versions yet, but the chance is really small)
