Vo is the worst thing that happend to db but I do agree that we are past the point that we can just get rid of it... i think. Viper is probably right, though there were still some ppl that used self volleys in rel games back when i was playing competively and i don't think it has been changed since then.

Ace, surge lost his credibitly with the community a long time ago, that is why we don't respect what he has to say. the fact taht ppl like the make fun of surge is why this thread is as long as it is :-p

You shouldn't be able to score then imo would defy the whole point .o/

This is a moot point now seeing as 2.1c fixed the problem but I was talking about 2 on 1s in VO in 2.1. Seeing as self volleys were pretty much useless the only option was to try to set someone up. Therefore all the defender had to do was cover the open man and the 2 on 1 was almost impossible.

But I guess DavidM understood what we were talking about more then you did and that is why we have 2.1c!

Yes but most good defenders know who does it and who doesn't and it's not that hard to defend against anyways. Just another move that is possible to perform if the opportunity arrises.
