you probably are already thinking of this but something that signifies who has the ball (like the ball bg in the ut hud going a color) would be good, something like one of the colors going brighter or something, i dunno

good work so far

that hud is FAR FAR too large. Keep it smaller. That just clutters the screen as far as i'm concerned.

It also looks like he was running in a rather large resolution

okay, since my opinion matters and yours dont, here it comes:

- the font in the second pic is better than the one in the first. the one is the first is needlessly complicated :D
- i like the second pic better, but the health and time indicators need to be basically the same size as the score. they should all be about the same height, but keep the positions.
- it needs the ball radar. i dont use the vicinity (middle of screen) radar, so i like the one at the top of the UT2003 HUD. maybe add a small one between the scores.
- good luck with the radar/text/icon placement :D
- ugh, dont do the rusty thing that davidm suggested. HUDs should be clean and simple, not rusty and ugly. alll the ugliness can be kept in the maps.

but do what you want, good luck on making a nice HUD. i think a good looking HUD is extremely important for a mod. most mods out there have really ugly HUDs, but this one is coming along nicely.

I still don't care for it...I'm of the mentality 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it' and I am happy with the current HUD. As I said before, it users can choose between the new one and UT2k3 one then designing a new HUD is fine by me. But I for one won't be using it.

Like the simple look and also the new square font!
I must agree with mannyfresh027 on keeping the HUD feel very simple and not rusty. A HUD should be informative without drawing extra attention to itself. But still be nice to look at when you do so, which this HUD does a great job at :)
And gotta love the feature of resizing everything in the HUD to make it "your own".

Nice work!

I couldn't think of a good idea for the scoreboard part of hud, but here is my idea for the other part...
also, that isn't the official deathball text, too lazy to get it...but that one was the closest i had ;p
(keep in mmnd, im a very unleet photoshop person)
