Err..seeing as both names were used on the same day by one person, as opposed to you connecting the bann0r name to a name that was used in the past makes me have to conclude that it could well be someone totally different fake-naming?

If I join as bann0r15 today, and then change my name to [D@MN]BL44T or something..would you conclude BL44T is bann0r15?

I don't think you can be sure of the bann0r's identities in this way =/

GUID is a ID generated from your CD Key. Thus everyone has 1 for every copy of 2K3

Because these names have the same ID, they have to be the same person OR the same CD Key...

It's possible that sum1 is using the others CD Key, but unlikely

Jr, what I'm saying is that some1 could easily fakename some1 else, regardless of what their guid is =/

For example:
If you look up my nick and it's GUID, it would be something like:

Then if I'd change my nick to that of others in the community a few times, for example:

You wudn't know which one I was =\

So instead, if I just used the names bann0r5, AND that of some1 elses (but not my own), than you'd think that other person would be bann0r5 and not me.

But the records go back months

Unless someone is THAT determined to do it, then it's probable you get the right person.
