* You seem to talk about asses a lot. I'm beginning to think you have some obsession with sphincters or something.

I've played on a euro server once. I'll be honest the only "n00bing" i saw were n00bs doing dumb things like shooting from half court. I talked to some nice people, one or two from .cy and hell they knew every clan id been in (im a little scared yeah...). I think a TZEC was there and he was cool too. I wish i could remember names but it was early in the morning when i was sick a whiles back.

Seems like 95% of the euros i talk to are arrogant fucks, being under probably 5 or so europeans that have been relatively nice to me. I didnt burn your house down or stab your mother, so if anyone wants to explain that be greaaaat.

man o man. The NA and euro communities have the same problems, idiots, spammers, n00bs, but that's all that one side seems to see of the other. It's unfortunate that i see anti-euro crap on irc and forums and in game. I wish that everyone could have the experience we (RusH) had with TEZC when we played them those times. They were great games, games came out pretty much even in the end, everyone had a good time. I would like to add that the NA community is not completely anti-euro, there are still plenty of us who think euros are cool.

The main problem is that the two communities are so isolated from one another. We each have our leagues, DB servers and irc servers and the only intermingling comes on this forum. Some kind of fun mixed NA-euro league would be great where each team would get to play a team they have never played before. Another good thing would be to have both communities on one irc server. The problem with this is that, although PGP is most likely better (no netsplits, easy channel registration), it would be dificult for the entire euro community + the home channel for deathball period to pick up and move. Moving the NA community to quakenet would be dificult too, because the NA community has already moved once and people seem to like pgp. It would be great to have some kind of solution to this.

I'm not going anywhere, esp quakenet. progameplayer has non-power-tripping admins, and a good irc experience. no need to go anywhere else.

well he is saying the truth, pgp is better, there are absolutely no netsplits, registering a channel requires only a simple command, and no pgp admin to hassle with at all. It's just that it's hard to move a whole community to a different irc server especially when the server is worse than your current one. This is why I fear no solution can be found to unite the two communities

every so often he'll say "great, quakenet split again" or sumthing to that effect.

The only times PGP EVER splits is durring upgrades (like twice a year) and the chanserves split every month or so to get updated.
