heh do it as u like. Davidm asked me to do it the way i suggested (which no one objected to before it was done) but im not gonna sit here and sift through 100+ posts of spam an nominations and write down ppls choices manually.

Allstar votes are polls.. in RL the nominees are selected by the press or whatever and ppl are allowed to pick 2 in each category. one so they can pick the player they are biased towards and one to pick the player they actually think is the best. But i guess this messed up cos ppl didnt know what to do with the 2nd vote after they voted for a friend so they just picked tezc or cy

i guess it is stupid cos a lot of great players from lower divisions arent there. didnt think ppl would get so worked up about it though =(

yeah, there's no deus or aov players in the poll....

but whos gonna pick what lower division teams are represented and which ones are not..

btw. i never saw a player TEZC-JollyRulez and i think it wud be very boring for everybody to see another match tezc-d + 1L vs. cy13.

Problem is that I can't vote for players I've never seen play. I've never played against cY.blue and never played against half of their players in any game at all, so how can I vote for them? In contrast I've played TEZC more times than I can count, and know how good all of their players are, so those are most likely to be the ones I vote for.

well, i stated my opinion on this, now I am waiting for the other league admins

There are tons of good players out there that arent even mentioned here... sum which i think have more ability and talent than the ones chosen

As a side note i only voted for 2 TEZC members i actually did go for people i generally thought were the better players and not "Team mates" or "friends"

I personnaly never liked this idea anyway.. was to much like eurovision.. ie its all political and not done cos they are actually better players, just better known in the db community

On every team theres usually 1 main scorer. Lets just say having 2 on the same team doesnt work as well... if your going to have an all-star game pick the top 6 ranked teams and have them elect 2 players to participate. 1 on each team will obviously warm the bench but its the only logical way to do it.

isn't the national teams thing a bit like the all stars thing anyway?

we're picking the best players from certain regions, thats the only difference...
