I had been searching for this game for months when I finally found a copy at Goodwill for $2.50. I was about to buy it before I realized that it was for Macintosh, and I only had a P.C.

My neighbor and I ended up buying a cheap mac + keyboard + mouse at the same goodwill for about $20 total. We got the game installed and it ran, but there is no sound!

As I've heard, sound adds a ton to the game, so I'm pretty much angry at the whole situation....

BTW--It will be mailed in a few hours.

I have to wait until I get off work to get it mailed. I tried to sneak it into works mail (make them pay the postage) and the boss said no.

The 7th Guest was my favorite game back in the day. These were my pre-Internet days as well, so I had to beat the game without any outside aid (Made the experience all that much more memorable). Moved on to the 11th Hour from there and then onto the Sierra Shivers series. I'd really have to reccomend those games too if you're into the puzzle genre. Took me a solid 9 months to beat Shivers 1 and a single call to a hint hotline (There is a puzzle that can not be solved otherwise - I have a physical version of it and it requires a succession of 55 moves in perfect combination to succeed).

Oh, another fun one for me was Zork Nemesis. Anyone ever play that one?

I remember that game! That was really fun while it lasted . . . I think my cousin still has my copy, though. :(

11th hour, you say? It sounds like I need to go looking for it. :D

Hey wow! I just moved from Apple Valley. Living in West St Paul now. Good to know there's a relatively strong Minnesota population here. ^_^
