I just came back after a few months' pause and finally got this one in a couple of hours.
Hard, but satisfying... got goosebumps when I realized I'd found the answer, great "aha" moment!
If you are stuck on this one like I have been don't give up. You just have to interpret the (very few) available clues in the right way!

took me nearly a month to solve this one, found something that threw me down a wormhole. It looks so simple now...
