Played the intro (not far into it, not had time) and so far - it looks stunning, even on my modest pc... runs smooth too...

crowbar for the win!

^ LOL. you miss the point of steam, and its connection to valve

hl2 is good, infact its better than good, its great. i loved the art of each level, ravenholm in particular

ending was a little trite, id like some explanation to what has happened. The only part i disliked is not being able to sack off a squad, they always stand in the doorways and find new and interesting ways to block my progress.

gravgun for the win.

Wait for Half-Life 3. The ending is not much different from that of Half-Life 1.
But yeh, I've just finished the game and i want to know why the hell did i just ruin my chances of getting in Alyx's bed. Will everything be worthy in the end? ^^

indeed, in years gone by i probably wont be thinking about this as i did with games like sensible soccer, champ manager 2 , x-com , strikeforce.

Games that truly controlled my life at certain points, sadly half life 2 doesnt complare in this fashion, yet at the same time it is truly superb.

Meh, maybe im getting too old

It exists!

It's called Counter-Strike: Source, and its the port of the most successful multiplayer FPS to a far better engine. It's good enough for me. :)

hl2 has basic mp support in it (not cs:s), give it a few weeks for a decent hldm mod to spring up.

id like to know more about c17, gman, the combine, breen, and the 7hr war. and play some more ball with dog :)
