Well it's not just the fans that are there, and not just for this cup. Just in general some England fans seem to be the worst for using football as an excuse to beat each other up and so on.....so far England have played one game and won, so let's see how "good" some of them are if England lose a match ¬_¬
*Some* fans were far from good when ENG lost last time round, there were riots all over the place, I have seen first hand what *some* England fans can be like .. it's not pretty

Must have missed that at the Euros. Don't remember much trouble myself. The ones left at home are a different matter though.

Yeah I was speaking more generally, ( I should have said that really

) there are sadly countless examples of bad form, from English fans. I am not saying ALL fans are like that, far from it. Just it's only the bad times people notice

And there haven't been any of those on foreign soil since the government introduced a ban on known hooligans (correct me if I'm wrong). I've got to say, apart from a couple of pitch invasions, the fans from all countries have been fantastic, including England's.
I don't think I've ever enjoyed watching a world cup as much as this one (admittedly my memory only goes back to 1994. I wasn't a big football fan before that.) and it's only the first set of games.

I am the same, only really watched the last few world cups. This one has been good so far and it's set to be even better once we move on to the next rounds
Also yeah they have now stopped known trouble makers from travelling to matches over seas. Damn right an all !
There was the one CRO fan yesturday but otherwise it's all been good so far

Ahh I missed it ! as I said I wasn't paying too much attention to that match
Just think, at least this time round we don't have to get up at silly o'clock to watch a match

Tell me about it. Still, good for the game in Asia. We need more asian and middle-eastern players in the european game I think.

Another fantastic finish. I bet Germany thought it wasn't their day after hitting the bar twice in quick succession. The Polish keeper made some great saves. No doubt Poland were playing very defensively and they paid the price. The sending-off was harsh. Seems Germany have abandoned their disastrous offside trap.

Germany wasn't looking too good for most part of the first half, few misses from Klose

. Then come the second half, well played really

Germany had most the possession and the win was well deserved in the end. Poland did well to keep that goal from happening for most the match though
Anyway gg

Can't wait for tomorrow. Hopefully Rooney won't play (and won't be needed).

Yeah everyone is dying to see him play, but I think it would be wiser to play it safe and let him sit this one out. As I am hopeful England will do well

Yeah! Im very happy with that match, cause we played a good part in the defence and tryed to score the superfluous goal still after the double-post. We deserved to win and i hope the team is getting better with this game in mind...
I think i drive tomorrow to nuremberg (my bro lives there) and watch england vs. trinidad with many thousands of english fans on public viewing...

First of all whats up peeps!
Secondly, Germany is looking a pretty hot team as are a handleful of other countries, but my god Spain is England's biggest threat atm (imho) and possibly the best team I've seen play this tournament so far. Many teams showed spells of fluidity, imagination and flair but none for such a sustained period as the Spanish. And their strength in depth is incredible. Raul and Fabegras as subs for goodness sake!
Got a 42" plasma to watch it on.... considering buying a special receiver to watch it in HD. Apparently the BBC are broadcasting on the Astra satellite. No need for $ky
