iDM is awesome, especially 1v1. It is a test of reflexes, aim, knowledge of the map, etc.
Assault was the most fun of all the ut gamemodes for me, but i only played botmatch.
Invasion is awesome at a lan if you get the difficulty level and map right.

At least there was a point to the assault mode...unlike DM which is just run around shooting at anything that moves...
Hmmmm.... strange that...DM (deathmatch) has no point, is retarded and is completely lacking in tactics or thought processes, as is DM (DavidM);)

That's just imo, but I am real huge fan of iG DM, hehehe ask bullet :p

DM/TDM/CTF/DoubleDom/BR/Mutant/LastMaNStanding/Invasion/Assault/Onslaught
that makes 10 gamemodes in just a game, pretty good imo ^^
and besides, DB wouldnt fit at all in a game like UT2004 ^^
