thats retarded.. the point of the different charge style is to make it so you can fire a semi-good shot at mid charge. How it is now, if the bar is 1/2 full you may as well shoot a pass shot w/o the charge sound and w/o the possibility of being shaken.

we had it like that in v0.7
it was awful
if we did it like that now we had a version again where all would be complaining, nobody could aim or pass anymore etc
and the top power must not be harder than the current....so it would just take longer to pull off less powerfull shots and passes, pointless

well yo yo you are missing ramps point the point was that he was taking out passes shots but there still needs to be a quick way to get shots off which is why you have the power scheme (or at least i beleave that is what he was telling me)
also as for the charge sound being only in the second half there seems to be some confusion about its purpose and its effect. The main purpose is to stop ppl from being able to wait until they hear the charge sound AND THEN mark ppl. the effect would be that it would force defenders to mark the person the whole time if they wanted to get the shake (though body language will give away that they are about to shot anyway... generally unless the O is really good in which case he should be able to get the shot off), zone D would still be possible but not nearly as super effective as it is right now (which currently makes man marking pointless in your own half of the feild)
and surge ffs stop killing you own arguements by acting like a 2 year old please

As for you David, have you ever played Twisted Metal Online? In that game theres 1 master car that has a 3 hit kill. Tell me it takes skill to be him. Thats what DB is like. The volley right now is the 3 hit kill and it makes using regular shooting less-usefull bbecause when you spam enough shots at the net one will eventually go in without much risk of being gibbed, without being able to get shaken, on a good team, not having to worry about the ball getting spammed away, shooting the ball faster and almost as accuratly...
I'v played on euro servers, you people are still doing moves we did 2 months ago like wall vollies. We have old videos of some SoP guys doing your boost trick back in 1.4b. We have been doing organized PUG (ballers) games since DB started and clans started forming.
What you don't seem to realize is that we are ahead of you, and everything you do (although helping the Euro crowd) is just making it harder and harder for us to play because what you implement affects your current playstyle, and ours form 2 months ago.

btw, when we played rush some time back they were hardly 2 months ahead of us O_o , and publics in europe HARDLY represents the type of games played competetively.. we have more new players arriving, starting from scratch and learning moves that are new to them , of course they use moves that look old to you.. -_-
