Still tho DM I do question ur logic at times, no offence. If I was writing a program at work and found that it had a bug in it, I would wait until some1 discovers, and quickly fix it ASAP. Or depending how bad it was I would notify ppl that it was there. jfyi it's always been in deathball (atleast since the autopass was built in wich was in 1.1 or something), but only happened rarly as noone started to do it intentionally.
You guys are exagerating about us and winning with boost goals:
OK, we might have lost against RR without them
BUT against tezc-l we won 6:1 with 3 boost goals (would have won without too)
6:0 against kex-sith (again, 3 non-boostgoals)
and in the other matches there was not much boosting going on because we were not good with it at that time.
In the end we CAN be proud of the "HOW", just the loss of kex-jedi is bugging me.
go watch the V3 replays people... there's a link somewhere around here to them. Every goal was a boost goal and they still managed to get beat by V3.
the scores were like 8-4(cY) and (V3)14-4 i think...
The design team for a game shouldnt be able to participate in the league IMO. I dont care if you have a team, or if you scrim, or whatever, but its not fair to the other teams because your team can practice with pre-release versions, wins all "arguements" related to the league by default, and you don't get a true representation of what the games like... you tend to change the rules and gameplay to suit your style unknowingly.
Its like jacking up 1 leg on a pool table every time its your turn. Sure you may miss and lose, but its still extremely unfair.
oh, and be happy to have me playing this game on a professional level, that way I understand what I am designing there unlike others who have no clue what the players are doing in their game
hmm.. in a way i kinda agree with surge.. for example my Colute Wars web site I design and run, i dont actually take part in it, incase of conflicts, possible arguments and basically what DavidM has got the whole DBL.. But then maybe its cos I just like doing things for other people not myself?!
i said it'd bee cool if his cY team were the "Harlum Globtrotters" of DB... that means he can still play all he wants. Just not in a league he organizes and operates.
ermm the only design player from our team is davidm, therefor the whole team shouldn't be allowed to play??? that means for example that cY.red (bazzie) tezc-d (rens2sea) aren't allowed to play either... hf with our league.....
