Man, it really feels like every single "clue" or "hint" in this level actually took me further away from the proper answer.

I'm also confused by this. I'm pretty sure I have the correct "code", so to speak. Only every place that I try to look, I can't find anything (having tried anything that looks remotely like a word). But tip 3 says not to think so complicated, and so I think "the end of the song" has to be the most obvious place. Am I supposed to use anagrams?

Any chance there's someone still using this forum that I could talk to for a nudge in the right direction? Like most of the posters before me, I think I have a pretty good idea of what's going on in this puzzle, I just can't seem to fit the pieces together. Hints 1 and 3 make perfect sense, but Hint 2 is elusive.
